BRICK RESERVOIR RECREATIONAL AMENITIES

What began more than a decade ago as an unused sand and gravel pit, has evolved into the largest construction project in the history of Brick Township. It is also the site of a one billion gallon water storage reservoir that will ensure an uninterupted supply of water to our customers for generations to come.

Complimenting the functional use of the Brick Reservoir will be the passive recreational opportunities it brings to the residents of our area. Once complete, the 120 acre site will offer aesthetically pleasing theme gardens with indigenous plantings, two fishing stations lined with brick pavers, four gazebos, numerous benches to relax and enjoy the facility, and a walking/jogging path. The entire area will be lit with multiple lighting fixtures.

The BTMUA is offering the public the chance to sponsor several recreational aspects of the Brick Reservoir. Sponsorship of the brick pavers, park benches and/or lighting fixtures offers a meaningful way to contribute to this important project, while leaving a lasting memory of your support for decades to come.

Brick Pavers

These various size brick pavers will be installed in the fishing stations. By sponsoring a brick paver, you can have your name, message, or other inscription imprinted on the paver for all to see. You may also leave it blank if you wish your sponsorship to remain anonymous.

Park Benches

Numerous benches will be located throughout the reservoir facility allowing for a tranquil and relaxing place to sit and take in the sites. By sponsoring a bench, a bronze plaque, approximately 4 inches by 8 inches, can be adorned with your name, message or other inscription. It can also be left blank if you choose.

Lighting Fixtures

Multiple lighting fixtures will be located throughout the 120-acre site, assuring safety and security. The lighting fixtures will also illuminate the facility from adjacent roads allowing passersby to see the area after nightfall.
