Commissioner Fozman was appointed to the Brick Municipal Utilities Authority as of February 1, 2013 by the Township of Brick Council. Currently, Mr. Fozman serves as a Councilman (2012-2015) and Committeeman. Mr. Fozman also serves as Chairman of the Public Works, Redevelopment and Cable TV Policy Committees, as well as a member or liaison of several others.
Mr. Fozman was born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After graduating from Franklin High School he took on a position with the Johnson & Johnson Corporation. He was a machine operator and Shop Steward for 13 years. Mr. Fozman also worked as a job site foreman for a North Brunswick based Plumbing Company. He directed employees with the installation of all phases of sewer and water, as well as rough and finish plumbing for myriad housing projects throughout Middlesex and Ocean Counties.
Mr. Fozman has recently retired from a local HVACR business based in the Township of Brick, of which he was an owner for over 15 years. In 2006 his former company was presented the Midlantic Region, Purveyor of the Year award by an OSI company in recognition of outstanding contribution to their success. Throughout the years he has taken all necessary certificate classes and tests required to keep up with the constant changing of certain business related rules and regulations. Mr. Fozman has also been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.
In the early 1990's Mr. Fozman volunteered in the community as a coach to athletic teams his son participated in; Mariners - Brick American Little League, Brick Memorial Pop Warner Football. Mr. Fozman also served as a Cub Scout leader. He has held the position of Community Outreach chair and is currently a Trustee with a local political organization. Mr. Fozman continues to be an active advocate for the people.
Mr. Fozman's hobbies have included recreational boating, international travel, fishing, gardening, motorcycles and watching professional football.
Mr. Fozman has been a resident of the Herbertsville section of Brick for over 25 years and married to his wife for 26 years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
